Para'Kito™, friend of SurfYogaSamba aficionados

Para'Kito™ Philippines sponsored the FLOW weekend, an event that celebrates the union of Surf, Yoga and Samba. With this event we would like to tap into the yoga enthusiast market, which directly targets the demographic of health conscious women mid 20s-30s - this is a big market opportunity for us, particularly for women with young children.

The event is held several times a year. This past event had 30+ participants and the following event is expected to have 50+ participants. It was a 3 day event held at La Union, a surf town in Northern Luzon (the island Manila is located on). Each participant was given a Para'Kito™ for the weekend. People wore it during yoga, samba and surf activities.

Fantastic response to the product. The product resonated particularly well with the mothers and their children. It was a stormy weekend and it rained for most of it - a lot of mosquitos lurking. People were pleased with Para’Kito's performance, particularly the waterproof benefit because they could go swimming and not have to worry about mosquito protection. Only half of the participants had seen it before, so this was great exposure to a focused target market.

The organizers promoted Para'Kito™ throughout the weekend and have been quite active on their social media. The organizers also have other businesses targeting young mothers, so there are other opportunities there. They have close to 2,000 "likes." There are photos of the event on their Facebook page.
